Welcome
Hosts Phil, Ann and Staff offer a year-round warm welcome helped in winter by our roaring stove fire.
We offer a home base for walkers, cyclists, families, historians, nature lovers, dog lovers, campanologists and those less able.
Facilities
Bar & Restaurant
Real Ale is our speciality. Homemade meals and traditional cooking is our 'bread and butter'. Come and sample both in our comfortable restaurant or just relax in the bar for a drink.
Celebrate that special occasion in our restaurant - functions and buffets by arrangement.
Beer Garden
Our large picturesque 'hidden' garden overlooks St. Chad's church and the Dee Valley. Relax and enjoy the views with plenty to occupy the kids.
Larger events can be held here - our marquee seats 40 guests.
