We serve award winning quality Real Ales.
This includes local guest beers such as Plassey, Weetwood, Woodlands, Salopian and Woods.
Plus regular favourites Adnams Bitter and Marston's Pedigree. Local micro-breweries are featured as well as regional breweries.
Requests for your favourites will be considered. Email Phil a request. If it’s on our list, we will get it, in return for you drinking half a barrel. SORRY, what would the H.M. Government say about such irresponsible binge drinking. Tut Tut.

Beer Festival Brews: A selection of beers from the following Breweries will be available from the end of April, and during the Beer Festival: Barngates, Hawkshead and Coniston (Cumbria), Salopian, Woods, Stonehouse, (Shropshire), Hobsons, (Worcestershire), Purple Moose (Gwynedd), Plassey (Wrexham), Weetwood, Spitting Feathers, Stationhouse (Cheshire).
Different styles will be available – golden brews, dark malty traditional styles, stouts and being as May is Mild month, at least three milds – one being Hobsons Mild, Supreme Champion Beer of Britain at the Great British Beer Festival 2007. Many of our beers and Breweries have also won awards in Regional and National competitions – Coniston Bluebird being in Champion Beer in 1998. Strengths vary from 3.2% to 5%.
