Salute the Publican

Most of us are aware of the threat facing pubs of all types. Closures are reported as being at a rate of between 60 and 80 per month nationally. The Nag’s Head in Farndon, boarded up for over 6 months, is a good example of what can happen to a once–thriving village local.

Pub News

Our lunchtime closing has taken effect – we’ve disappointed a lot of people who enjoyed their Senior Citizen lunches, however, we’ve been very pleased to see many of our regulars for a Sunday lunch, or even in the evenings. Sunday lunches are as popular as ever, so don’t forget those immortal words of Billy Butlin I think it was (showing my age now), "Book Early". Same goes for Saturday night and Thursdays and Fridays for that matter!! And of course, Christmas is nearly upon us – so pop in for the Christmas Menu, and book a table, otherwise check out the menu on the Restaurant page.
